How to analyse your Instagram followers
You do not need to give a third-party application your account password to explore your Instagram followers. BağLab compares follower and following lists from an export of your own account data.
1. Request your data from Instagram
Open the download or export information area in Instagram’s Accounts Center. Select your own account and follower/following information. Labels can vary by version; BağLab also includes an in-app import guide.
2. Prepare a JSON export
Choose the supported JSON format in the export settings. Download the archive when Instagram makes it available and keep the relevant JSON files. Remember that an archive may also contain messages or other personal information.
3. Analyse the archive in BağLab
Select your exported file in BağLab’s Instagram area. The app compares the lists without asking for your username, password or Instagram session.
- Explore accounts that do not follow you back.
- Compare follower and following lists.
- Review pending requests when included in your export.
4. Compare changes over time
Compatible exports taken at different times can help you explore changes between lists. A single file does not show all past unfollows; results depend on the export’s contents and date.
5. Stay in control of your data
Follower file analysis runs on your device. Keep your archive in a safe place. BağLab is not an official Instagram or Meta application and does not sign in to your account. Some advanced features may require an in-app purchase.
